She is also very active as an accompanist and currently works with Diva Voices, a women’s choir, as well as accompanying students for examinations in different instruments and voice. Vita has taught with the New School since 2006.
‘After many years of teaching, I have come to the conclusion that music, like the other arts, is a way to express and receive emotions – therapy, in a way. I try to find the best approach for each student, and I take great pleasure in providing all of my students, who currently range in age from 5 to 72, with the tools to understand and express themselves through music. Making music is so much more than simply playing the right notes!’
