Now Enrolling for Our 2021 Summer Term
Waltons New School of Music
We are now enrolling for our 2021 Summer Term, which is divided into two parts:
Part One (5 Weeks)
28 June – 31 July
Part Two (4 Weeks)
3 – 28 August
Students enrolling for private, partner and small group lessons can enrol for one or both parts of the term, and our group courses take place in both parts.
Lessons
We offer lessons in our Summer Term for students of all ages and skill levels, and in most of the instruments and subjects we offer during the regular school year.
30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute private (one-to-one) lessons are available. Partner lessons and small group lessons, designed for students at the same level of proficiency who enrol together, are available as 30- 45- or 60-minute partner lessons (for two students), as well as 60-minute small group lessons (for three or four students). Partner lessons are available for most of the instruments we teach. And online small group lessons are available for Bodhrán, Guitar, Irish Fiddle, Piano, Tin Whistle, Ukulele, Violin and Voice (Singing). They can be taken both by students in the same location and by students in different locations.
Students can choose to take in-school lessons, which take place on the New School premises, or online lessons, which can take place anywhere in Ireland or around the world. In-school lessons will take place in the school when Government directives allow this; otherwise they will take place online.
