Irish Harp


Giulio BryantGiulio was born in Venice, Italy, where he studied harp from an early age at the Venice Conservatoire and received an Academic Diploma in Harp. He continued his studies with Geraldine O’Doherty at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where he also obtained an advanced (LRIAM) Teaching Diploma with First Class Honours. Giulio has experience in teaching students of all ages and skill levels, as well as performing as a soloist, as an orchestral player and in chamber music settings. He has performed with orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra, the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel Chamber Orchestra and the RIAM Philharmonia. In October 2019, he was awarded second prize in the 11th Marcel Tournier International Harp Competition in Cosenza, Italy. Giulio has participated in masterclasses and courses with such world-renowned harpists as Isabelle Moretti (professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), Marie-Pierre Langlamet (principal harp, Berliner Philharmoniker), Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche (honorary professor at the CNSMD de Lyon), Charlotte Seale (professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London) and Cécile Maudire (winner of the XVI Israel International Harp Contest).
