Please complete this form if you would like to enrol your child for one of Waltons New School of Music’s group courses for children aged 3-8 in our First-Third Terms (September-June):

Pre-Instrumental Music Courses

Making Music (ages 3-4)
Musical Adventures (ages 4-5)
Musical Explorations (ages 5-6)

Instrumental Courses for Beginners

Introducing Guitar for Children
Introducing Piano/Keyboard for Children
Introducing Ukulele for Children
Introducing Violin for Children

If you would like to enrol your child for private (one-to-one) or partner (two-person) lessons, please use our Lessons • Ensembles Enrolment Form instead of this form.

Please Note

  • This is an enrolment – not an enquiry – form, so we ask you to complete it only if you intend to enrol your child in one of these courses. If you would like to make an enquiry about the courses, please use our contact form instead.
  • If you have chosen to pay the course fee with an online invoice, we will email this to you after confirming that a place in the course is available.
  • If you have chosen to pay the course fee by phone or in person, phone the school office on (01) 478 1884 as soon as possible after submitting this form to make your payment or arrange a time to drop by.
  • Submission of this form does not guarantee your child a place in a course, and full payment of the tuition fee is required to confirm your child’s enrolment. We are not able to hold places in courses provisionally, and we recommend paying the tuition fee as soon as possible after completing the form to confirm enrolment.

COURSE CHOICE

Please complete this section if you are enrolling your child in one of our courses for the first time in a school year. If you would like to enrol your child in an ‘improvers’ or continuation course (subject to teacher and timetable availability) or another Music for Me course in the same school year, please complete the section below instead.

IMPROVERS & REPEAT COURSES

Please complete this section if your child took one of our Introducing courses and would like to continue with an ‘improvers’ or continuation course in the new term (subject to teacher and timetable availability), or if your child took one our Music for Me courses and would to take it again or take a course in the next age range.

Please let us know when your child is available to take the improvers course. (We are more likely to be able to arrange continuation courses if previous course students can be relatively flexible.) Select up to five choices.
 
Do you have any comments that you would like to make about your day • time preferences?
Your child can repeat a Music for Me course, subject to availability, as long as he/she remains within the age range of the course. There will be some variation in the activities each time the course runs, and the course's key concepts will be reinforced through repetition.

AGREEMENTS

We recommend that parents of enrolling students subscribe to our email newsletter, which provides useful updates on the New School and its activities no more than once a month.
